It only works occasionally for me. It takes two or three times to conect and it will stop working after a few songs. Apparently I get changing proxys so once in a while pandora tells me they can not give service from Germany or Sweeden or any other country. Any tip on how to fix a US proxy? Thanks.

So I do this and get an exit node in the US, meaning I can also buy music downloads from iTunes, amazon.com, etc. while traveling abroad. Didn't work for me the first couple of times, even though I didn't get the Pandora.com whine message about only being available in the US. Instead, the first couple of times I got a practically blank page at Pandora.com and no log in box, but now I'm listening to my Pandora stations in Uruguay. I use Tor anyway, so I was already 90% of the way there. Many thanks for this idea.

hi can you tell me if this works as well if i enter the "file:///C:/tor.pac" command into the proxy field of my squeezebox? (i want pandora to work again on my logitech squeezebox).... thx. hp

Worked for like 3 songs, then when I restarted Firefox it first gave me the usual "You can't listen to Pandora because you're from Great Britain" message, except saying I was from China, then France before going back to United Kingdom and ultimately not working. Not really a solution if it's picking countries at random, and they only work for a few tracks.

amm, It didn't work for me (Israel). I can open everything except pandora, ideas?

I followed all the instructions, but I still can't access Pandora. First it told me I was in France, then in Greece! I am in neither of those countries. How do I use Vidalia to tell Pandora I'm in the US?

Is there any way to configure Opera to use the automatic proxy? I tried entering the proxy like it is formatted for Firefox and IE but it still doesn't work. I read online that Opera can't map to a local .pac file. Is this true?

I've just tried this method and it works! I managed to install the Vidalia Bundle on a Windows XP machine without administrative privileges in a non-default location and it works except for the missing Start menu entries. I found the file to edit in C:\Documents and Settings\MY_NAME\Application Data\Vidalia\torrc. Thank you so very much Global Pandora :-) Gig.
